Hi mum, it is Christmas morning - our first without you and dad - it is so hard to believe that only a year has gone by since I had you and dad here for Christmas lunch - our whole lives have changed in that one year. You will never be far from my thoughts today but I will try to enjoy the day as I am sure that is what you and dad would have wanted.
